These 25 People Got Hit On At The Worst Moments

I did a charity 10-mile walk on a really hot day, and didn’t really eat, so I was having super low blood sugar and almost puked on the train. I got off at the next stop and managed to flop down next to the ticket machine before I passed out. But I’m huddled in the corner, sitting on the floor of a dirty train station, white as a sheet, and cramming a protein bar into my mouth when this guy walks up to me and is like “Hey how are you?” I thought he was going to call an ambulance or something, so I said “Don’t worry I’ll be ok.” And he was just like “Oh, that’s cool. What brings you to Boston?” Dude wasn’t worried about the fact that I was all pale on the floor of a train station, he was hitting on me. I was like “Dude, I’m trying not to puke on you please leave.” and he got super awkward and left, but how oblivious can you be?

During my driving lesson, the instructor hit on me. It was super uncomfortable being alone in a car with someone thrice your age (I’m 17, he is in his fifties) who makes constant references to sex and touches your thigh.

Family reunion, by an uncle I hadn’t see in decades and thought I was a guest of someone.

I worked at a test prep company (ACT, SAT), and I was presenting at a college fair. I had a booth with a bunch of information about the company, preparing for college, prepping for entrance exams. There were about 30 booths in the room. The guy next to me was presenting information about a specific private college. He started hitting on me before lunch. Asking really personal questions and then it escalated to him asking if he could take me out to dinner. I actually had plans to see the Hunger Games with a friend, and he invited himself along! Ha, no. No, no, no. After rejecting his advances, I had to stand next to him for another 4 hours at my booth. Just really uncomfortable.

Work. I’m a teacher, and I had a student that hit on me repeatedly. I had to go through the proper steps of warning him, calling his parents (mom thought it was funny) sending him to detention and writing him up. The administration thought it was not a big deal and gave him a slap on the wrist until I brought the documentation of all the steps I’d taken and threatened to sue the district and bring sexual harassment charges against the student.
